This warehouse is a project of Jorge Ordoñez And partners. The warehouse is located in the north end of Rias Baixas’s D.O., in the valley of the Salnes to the south of this region near the Atlantic Ocean. The vineyards are arranged in pergola, the traditional system of this zone, to support the fruit far from the soil, in benefit of the health of the grape, reducing to the maximum the use of fungicides. The grapes for this wine come from 11,5 hectares of vineyards planted in 1966 (5,2 own(proper) ones and the rest of local vine-growers) divided in twelve plots located in They Cheat Ribadumia in Salnes’s valley. The soils are very sandy proceeding from rotten granite and have a high acidity due to his(her,your) proximity to the ocean.
